Emilia Broberg completed graduate
programs in rehabilitation counseling and
behavior intervention case management from
California State University, Los Angeles.
She is a board certified behavior analyst
with twelve years of experience in the field
of applied behavior analysis. She has
coordinated and implemented social skills
training programs, provided individual and
group counseling for various age groups and
disabilities, conducted functional analysis
assessments to develop individualized
behavioral objectives and plans, and
provided parents and teachers with workshops
designed to develop behaviors conducive to
learning. Her experience includes case
management and direct intervention with
diverse populations of children and teens at
risk due to various social-emotional and
behavioral concerns, application of
techniques of applied behavior analysis in a
wide range of contexts such as creating a
problem solving approach with regards to
increasing the rate of school attendance,
and promotion of safety and positive climate
in educational settings through development
of constructive discipline models and
implementation of positive behavior support
programs. |

| Cristina Vega is
a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
and received a certificate in Autism
and a Master of Science degree in
Counseling with an emphasis in
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from
California State University Los
Angeles. She has worked in the field
of ABA since 2003 with a wide
variety of clients ranging from
children as young as 2, to
adolescence and adults with
developmental disabilities. Cristina
has experience providing services in
adult community integration
programs, intensive early
intervention, as well as classroom
and social integration. She recently
participated in a research project
developing a Spanish translation of
an indirect functional behavior
assessment (i.e., QABF) and has
interests in developing further ABA
resources for the Spanish speaking
population. Cristina joined Foothill
Child Development Services as a
program supervisor in September of
2010 and assists with training staff
and parents in ABA methodologies. |

| Erica Arius is a
Board Certified Behavior Analyst,
earning a Master’s degree in
Marriage and Family Therapy with an
emphasis in Child Psychology from
Antioch University, Los Angeles and
completing her Applied Behavior
Analysis (ABA) coursework from
California State University Los
Angeles. She has worked in the field
of ABA since 2005 with a wide
variety of clients ranging from 0 to
3, to school age children, to
adolescence with developmental
disabilities. Erica has experience
providing services in the school
setting collaborating with school
staff, in the home setting working
with parents, as well as intensive
early intervention and social skills
integration. Erica joined Foothill
Child Development Services as a
program supervisor in March of 2010. |

| Marisela
Alvarado is a Board Certified
Behavior Analyst and received a
Masters Degree in Counseling with an
emphasis in Applied Behavior
Analysis. She is currently a Program
Supervisor at FCDS. She has over ten
years of experience working with
diverse population of children,
adolescents, and adults with
Developmental Disabilities, Mental
Illnesses, and Severe Emotional
Disturbance (SED). She oversees
implementation of the direct
intervention programs while also
providing training for the parents
receiving services for their
children as well as conducting
Functional Behavior Assessments. She
has received training in Discrete
Trial Training (DTT) and a
certificated instruction in Pivotal
Response Training (PRT). She is a
member of CalABA and ABAI
organizations that promote further
research in the field of applied
behavior analysis and related areas.
Marisela’s interests in the field
include antecedent interventions in
decreasing inappropriate behaviors
and acquisition of language in
children with bilingual backgrounds. |
